1. Why should I choose a rental home instead of a hotel?

Hotels in the Disney area can be very expensive.  In fact, you will probably pay the same price for one person as you would for this Villa that can accommodate up to 10 guests.  In addition, you are not restricted to just one room.  You have an individual family room, Kitchen, Living and Dining Room, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, and of course your own private heated swimming pool and spa in a screened enclosed environment.  There are also 5 TV's and a DVD/VCR Player.  As you can see, there is something for everyone.  A perfect solution for all of your vacation needs.

2. After reviewing your web site, I still have questions.  Is there someone I can speak with?

We are always more than happy to speak with anyone who has additional questions.  You can either contact Dennis at 301-980-5098 or send us an email at barnhart_d@msn.com.  We pride ourselves on being accessible and providing you with answers to your questions just as quick as possible.

3. Are all linens and towels included?

Yes, all towels and linens are provided.  There is also a Washer and Dryer for your convenience.

4. Are there a lot of things for the children to entertain themselves with in the home?

Absolutely.  There are 5 Cable TV's, DVD/VCR Player, AM/FM Stereo CD Player, and the Emerald Island Clubhouse is a short walk away. 

5. How much does Pool Heat cost?

We only charge $145 per week for pool heat.  It is best to request pool heat at the time of booking as it takes between 12-24 hours to heat the pool.  If requested at the time of booking, the pool heat will be switched on prior to your arrival so that the pool is at a very comfortable temperature.  If you happen to request pool heat on the day of arrival, please understand there will be a delay before the pool is up to the heated temperature.

6. During what times of the year do you recommend Pool Heat?  

Typically, we recommend pool heat between November and March. 

7. Is there someone close by incase we have any questions or a problem during our stay?

Absolutely.  We have a professional property management company who takes care of our property.  They are always on hand and available to assist our guests.  If the need arises for you to contact them, you will find them to be very courteous, professional and quick to provide you with assistance.  You will be provided their contact information as part of your welcome package.  There is also a notebook located in the Kitchen that includes many important phone numbers including our property management company.

8. Is there any construction ongoing in this development?

All home construction near our Villas is complete.  You will not be interrupted or bothered with construction trucks, traffic congestion, safety hazards, air and noise pollution that are present in many developments still under construction. 

9. Do you accepts pets?

We are sorry but no pets are allowed in our Villa.

10. What is your smoking policy?

Our Villa is a non-smoking property.  We would appreciate it if you would not smoke in the house or around the pool and spa.  We find that most guests prefer a smoke free environment.  We appreciate you adhering to our non-smoking policy in an effort to keep our property in great condition.

11. Is there a golf course nearby?

Champions Gate golf course is less than 5 minutes away.  There are also many other fine golf courses close to our Villa.

12. How much of a deposit do I need to make a reservation?

A required deposit of $300 per week secures the reservation. 

13. Does your Villa have its own phone?

The phone is located in the Kitchen.  All local calls are free.  You will need to provide a credit card number for all long distance calls or purchase a calling card which are typically cheaper.  But we find most of our guest use their cell phones for any long distance calls they may need to make.

14. I've heard there are lots of bugs and insects in Florida.  Should I be concerned?

Like any other hot climate, there does tend to be more insects.  However, a pest control company treats the Villas each month.  The private pool is also screened, so you won't have any problems with insects during those relaxing evenings by the pool.

15. What form of payment do you accept?

We accept major credit cards (Visa and Master Card), personal checks, cashier checks, or money orders in US Dollars.  For any credit card transactions, there is a 5% surcharge for this service.

16. What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in begins at 4:00pm on the day of your arrival.  Check-out is no later than 10:00am on the day of your departure.  If there are special circumstances regarding these times, please ask and we will do our very best to accommodate your request if at all possible. 

17. How do I get the keys to the Villa?

We have a secure lock box on the Villa.  We will email you the combination once the balance of your rental has been received. 

18. If your Villa is booked on our chosen dates, can you recommend another in the Disney area?

Yes, we have other executive Villas in the Disney area and would be more than happy to recommend them to you in order to ensure that your vacation becomes a reality.  Just complete the form under Contact Us and remember to include the dates you are looking for.  We can check on availability and provide you with further information.
